“Excerpts of my musical biography”
After first experiences of success with chimes and flute, my musical career slowly took shape with the music mentor training in Kürnbach. I was able to fully live out my passion for singing, composition and group conducting at my home grammar school Mönchsessgymnasium-Heilbronn, its chamber choir and jazz choir, the church choir Klingenberg and the “Donnas”. As the earliest and longest member of the chamber choir, influenced by my mentor Dr. Hermann Forschner, I also had the honour of standing regularly at the major school concerts in the Heilbronn Harmonie and Killianskirche to stand in front of the choir and orchestra as conductor or singer while my first works “des sensations” and “Prometheus” were performed several times. I experienced an exciting time with sang and sound with the two men’s a cappella ensembles “Pentatonica” and the brilliant guys of “vorlaut”. A vocal milestone was the pre-loud 3. Prize at the “german Acappella Bundestcontest”. I like to look back on these times with gratitude and joy. Grazyna Winogrodzka and my dear friend Prof. I owe it to Stephan Kohlenberg the discovery and development of my voice (main and performance subject singing school music). Thanks also to my first singing teacher Gert Bachmaier, who set the stone in motion. I owe my passion for piano and improvisation to my first piano teacher Renate Schumann, who always supported my progress with heart and mind, and to my always grooving improvisation teacher G.P. Murawski at the Academy of Music. Mannheim. The talent of accompaniment and improvisation I was often able to expand weekly thanks to my home community of the EMK Heilbronn for years and I am happy to continue to share my music on various occasions. Recently, the joy of standing in front of a choir again became a reality and so I was happy for four months on Wednesdays to make the church choir “St. Aegidius” together in Wörth sound the voice in good mood. I will miss the choir very much and am very grateful that we have experienced so many beautiful moments in such a short time. I have now also nailed the recently started men of the MGV Haganbach, because my old life is no longer compatible with the trip to India. The nice and committed men as well as the lovingly caring church choir from Wörth will hopefully find someone who will be there for them.
From now on it is called: live out music new and completely, compose, dense, paint and get to know many nice people. Hello life, here I am: open and receptive to all good!
Nutrition, Exercise, Health
“The body does the exercise”
I owe my introduction to health, sport & nutrition to my cousin Roland Erb. Motivated by a great book (Wake up the winner in you, Alexander Christiani), I realized that body and mind are in close contact and that we set ourselves limits or that they come from early childhood or social copied “programming”. Roland runs several gyms in the Heilbronn area and gives daily growth impulses with more value. Thanks to his support, especially in my important first development phase, I was motivated to obtain various fitness licenses (C-, B-license, elliptical cross trainer, foodcoach) at the Academy of Sports before graduation (mental training and the A-license are underway). Roland was an early incentive to grow beyond himself and share current health knowledge and critically reflect on trends. As a coach, family member and father, he continues this into his spare time. My sporting career is rather short but characterized by passionate enthusiasm, which always focused on the preservation and healthy development of body and mind. Where other sports students have been doing sports all their lives, the usual cycling was with me and in high school “going to the gym” was the program. The decision in my “mid twenties” to face the challenge of sports studies and to completely adapt my life may be unusual. Nutrition was and is the decisive point here. Since then, the nutrient supply has become more and more important for me in the triangle of sports-health-nutrition, the interest in the topic helped me to let 16 kilos of weight go alone before the sports study and facilitated other useless habits and views to be deposited. In addition to the physical aspect, I also became aware of the mental aspect very early on and what a challenge it is to go your own healthy way in today’s environment. We are largely a result of our outer and inner environment (early childhood and beyond) and finding and staying in a healthy environment is a lifelong task. During my sports studies, the entrance examination of which I have also undergone several times, other formative paths opened up. Participation in the project Schwimmfix, in which non-swimmers of the third class discover the friends on the water under student guidance in small groups and complete the seahorse, the activity as an athletics trainer at the Karlsruhe Sport Club (KSC) and especially the path of the yogis. Open-hearted and curious, I dived in the elective subject yoga with Prof. Dr. Hans-Jörg Seng on the world of Raja yoga. For the past three years now, I have been passing on internalized knowledge in regular courses for the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) gym Walkin and university sports. These roots enrich me in every area of my life and so they also found their appeal at KSC children’s training, personal training, coaching or as a choir leader and in a private environment. I would like to continue this determined, graceful and at the same time humble royal path and accompany people on their way to (-back). Now we have to go to India and deepen the path of the yogis. Finally, I live consistently the change I want to see in the world. Namasté.
“When we leave, it is not because we know what will be, but because we are inspired by the hope that we will be what we dare to dream of” (Rudolph von Behren).
Stay healthy and cheerful!
